Product Selection & Performance

Payload, endurance and the right platform for each mission.

01

What payload capacities do ZHT Aero drones offer? How do you choose between the different models?

KEEL MINI is the compact platform in the family; KEEL emphasizes endurance, while PLUS, PRO and MAX address progressively heavier-duty applications. Ask for a configuration comparison for the same mission conditions.

Our payload capacities are configuration-specific:

  • KEEL MINI8 kg / Standard
  • KEEL10 kg max.
  • KEEL PLUSUp to 30 kg
  • KEEL PRO30–70 kg
  • KEEL MAX100–200 kg
  • X300 P115M300 kg

Actual results depend on multiple factors; please provide the operating altitude and temperature so we can evaluate the appropriate configuration.

02

Which drone is suitable for cargo delivery, mapping, inspection or emergency response?

For portable inspections, patrols and light transport, KEEL MINI is an ideal choice; weighing just 3.5 kg excluding battery and capable of instantaneous flight speeds up to 40 m/s (144 km/h), it enables highly efficient operations.

For large-scale operations requiring extended flight times or long-range coverage, KEEL serves as the primary workhorse; the Explorer edition offers a maximum flight time of 104 minutes with a 2 kg payload, making it a versatile, classic model adaptable to a wide range of missions.

For transport tasks, select the appropriate model based on payload requirements: KEEL PLUS handles 10–30 kg, KEEL PRO covers 30–70 kg, and KEEL MAX or X300 is suitable for the 100 kg class.

Final model selection should take into account the total equipment weight, required mission duration and deployment space constraints.

Customization & System Integration

OEM/ODM, payload integration, avionics and package configuration.

03

Can a drone be customized for a specific payload or mission?

Custom requests are reviewed for technical feasibility, manufacturing requirements and order quantity before we confirm whether a project can be accepted. Areas for evaluation include selected structural modifications, landing gear, payload mounting, power integration and interface adaptation.

Custom projects are subject to minimum order quantity (MOQ) requirements. The specific MOQ, engineering and prototyping costs, and lead time are determined according to the customization scope, manufacturing requirements and planned order quantity. Please share your application, technical requirements and purchasing plans so we can assess your request and discuss a suitable solution.

04

Can third-party payloads and sensors be integrated?

We have experience integrating visible-light and thermal gimbals, LiDAR, multispectral cameras, searchlights, loudspeakers, and cargo-handling and release equipment. Third-party equipment requires an integration assessment covering the selected aircraft, mounting, power supply and communication requirements.

Please provide the equipment datasheet, dimensions and mounting drawings, weight and center-of-gravity information, power requirements, communication protocols, interface definitions and wiring diagrams. Sample hardware may also be required for integration and testing. For quick-release mounting, we can assess compatibility with our Pandora system. The integration scope is defined in the agreed technical solution.

05

What is included in the package?

We offer three supply tiers: the frame assembly delivered according to specifications; the power-equipped frame, which adds matching motors, electronic speed controllers (ESCs), propellers and wiring harnesses to the base frame; and the complete system solution, which further integrates specified flight control, navigation and communication systems, along with commissioning and mission-specific equipment—enabling immediate flight upon delivery.

Batteries and chargers are not included as standard items; specific quantities are determined by the quotation, which also covers any custom, non-standard accessories.

06

Which flight controllers, communication links and ground-control software can be used?

Available flight controller options primarily include CUAV and SIYI. Handheld ground station options include SIYI and Skydroid. Commonly used ground station software includes Mission Planner and QGroundControl; the selected firmware, ground station software and interface configurations must be verified for compatibility.

Supported hardware interfaces include UART, CAN, PWM, S.Bus, Ethernet and USB. Open SDK/API support ensures full compatibility with user customization requirements.

Evaluation & Ordering

Demos, factory visits and production lead times.

07

Can I request a demonstration, evaluation unit or proof of concept?

Yes, you may request a technical consultation or product evaluation by leaving a message on our website, emailing info@zhtaero.com, or calling +86 133 8800 5852.

For proof-of-concept projects involving specific payloads, we first define the aircraft configuration, test payload, flight conditions and acceptance criteria. OEM/ODM projects include a prototype validation phase prior to mass production, typically allowing for 1–2 rounds of revisions based on the quoted scope. Arrangements such as on-site visits, flight demonstrations and off-site prototype evaluations are handled individually; availability, locations, prototype conditions and associated costs are determined on a project-by-project basis.

08

Can I visit the factory or ask for a product demonstration?

Certainly. To ensure the best possible visit, please coordinate with our business representative at least one week in advance to confirm the date and time of your visit, the specific project requirements you wish to discuss, the aircraft models you would like to see demonstrated, and any particular requirements for such demonstrations.

Please note that we do not accommodate unannounced visits or on-the-spot demonstration requests.

09

What are the production and delivery lead times?

Lead times depend on the product, configuration, order quantity, availability and production schedule. Please contact our sales team with your requirements and preferred delivery date so we can assess the proposed order and discuss its estimated lead time and delivery arrangements with you.
